Havaianas Countdown
Our 10th birthday is coming soon
On Australia Day back in 2006, we set a new world record for the longest line of giant inflatable Havaianas on the ocean. We’ve beaten this record six times now - with a new record held by WA  this year of 2,099! Plus over nine years we have raised over $330, 000.  What will happen in 2015 on our 10th birthday?  Can't wait to find out.  But for now, lets remember all the good times gone by.  Go back in time
Put it in your diary

The Havaianas Thong Challenge happens every year on Australia Day.

It's your chance to be part of a world record attempt for the largest number of giant inflatable Havaianas out on the ocean.

This iconic event brings 1000s of people together to have fun, and celebrate being Australian! So get involved next Australia Day and come along to your favourite Aussie beach.

Every registration = a thong well spent
$10 from every registration is donated back to the local participating surf club - to help our incredible lifesavers provide vital surf patrols, training programs and education. This year  we are proud to announce that $64, 710 was raised across the 5 states.  Since the Havaianas Thong Challenge event began in 2006, we’ve raised a total of $334, 710 for this incredible volunteer organisation. The state by state battle continues.
Every year, the states battle it out to see who can come out on top. Australia Day 2014 was your chance to represent your state as well as your country! Although Bondi surf conditions meant NSW was out of the running, all states gave their best with big numbers achieved this year.  So give yourself a pat on the back for getting involved.
